While searching for a criminal, investigators find themselves in a series of dramatic and dangerous situations. The risk is even greater when the dangerous man is not being tracked by a professional team of criminal investigators, but by a private individual. This is the case of journalist Gavlas, who finds himself in a dangerous situation while performing his profession. Anonymous threatens him with death if he does not abandon his profession. Gavlas must deal not only with the problem of his personal attitude towards the principles of the journalistic profession, but above all he must uncover and neutralize a hidden adversary.

And although father Ďur is helped everywhere to reach his destination, he cannot avoid problematic situations.

The myth of the anti-fascist resistance in Slovakia was one of the important themes of normalization cinema, of course, treated with an emphasis on the leading role of the communists. The unhappy and desperate director of the Šúpala Zoo tries to sell a sick bear to a foreign tourist for shooting, because the purchase of other animals for the ZOO is only possible with anti-socialist currency, i.e. hard currency, and so the administrator does everything possible and impossible just to get them...

A Slovak detective story set in contemporary Bratislava and featuring ordinary people with their own everyday problems. The violent death of Olga Holešová places them under heavy suspicion of murder. A series of strange coincidences and circumstances complicate the investigators' work. Her husband's infidelity, the loss of a large sum of money that the treasurer Fiala is supposed to replace, a lawyer earning extra money by doing various odd jobs - all these are confusing clues, among which investigator Jakubec eventually finds a thread that will lead him to the correct solution to the case.

The freshly graduated engineer gradually sobers up from his student ideals and encounters a different reality than he had expected. Few people understand his resistance to the established conditions in a prosperous company, and the hero's personal conflicts with his superiors deepen.
