Halil is a teenage boy, son of a poor porter, and sees him dying when serving a man without compassion. Halil keeps on with father's work, to pay for his younger brother and their old mother food and shelter in a slum. Then, the horse that pulled the chariot dies, and Khalil goes on, taking the animal's place. A rich man tries to kill another, and pays Halil to pick up the revolver, and take the blame - going to prison instead of him. Halil accepts, and takes the money to his mother. In prison, Halil grows up as a rowdy man. Later, fate will bring the two brothers together, but in opposite sides of the law: Halil is a paid assassin, and his brother is a public prosecutor. When the Mafia pays Halil to kill his own brother, he refuses - and the Mafia retaliates by killing his wife. Halil vows to revenge her.

Nükhet and Orhan are two young people who love each other. Orhan's father pressures Orhan to break up with Nükhet, and they separate. Nükhet becomes a famous singer. After enduring prolonged torture, the two soldiers are handed over to Turkey under an agreement. However, having suffered severe trauma from the torture they endured, the two soldiers struggle to continue living. Meanwhile, Major Şahin's son is killed. Şahin, taking his comrade Hasan with him, sets out to track down his son's killers.

The film takes on the efforts Kemal, a guy working for the mafia, makes to change his life. Kemal has grown up in a suburb of İstanbul. He has become very rich after starting to work for the mafia. Having lied to his father and neighbors that he works as a manager in a company, Kemal gets caught by the police during a smuggling operation. He serves a long time in prison for his crime. After his release, he comes to find everyone’s back is turned on him. His ex-employer Nihat offers Kemal his job back. Yedibela Nuri, the police chief, on the other hand, wants him to become an informant. Kemal turns both proposals down. However, Nihat has no thought of letting Kemal go.
