Jimmy Miller parks a recording truck next to Keith Richards and Anita Pallenberg's Blue Coast villa, and by June the band is in the basement a few days at a time. The Stones, other musicians and crew, Pallenberg, and photographer Dominique Tarle, plus old clips and photos and contemporary footage, provide commentary on the album's haphazard construction. It was recorded on 15 December 2012 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey as part of the band's 50 & Counting tour, in support of the GRRR! compilation released that year. It was originally broadcast as the pay-per-view 2012 concert film One More Shot: The Rolling Stones Live before being remixed and re-edited. The concert features guest appearances from Lady Gaga, John Mayer, Gary Clark Jr. The Black Keys, Bruce Springsteen and former Stones guitarist Mick Taylor.

The Rolling Stones embarked on the Licks World Tour in 2002 and 2003 to celebrate their 40th anniversary, featuring the band performing in arenas and stadiums in addition to the occasional theatre. As part of their 1994/1995 Voodoo Lounge world tour, the Rolling Stones gave a handful of small-scale, stripped-down concerts in Europe as a kind of response to 'MTV Unplugged.' This show that took place on July 19, 1995 at the Brixton Academy in London, a venue with a capacity of about 5000, was the final of a total of four club shows. The other shows were held in Paris and Amsterdam, and all of them were recorded for a forthcoming album, which was eventually named 'Stripped' and released on November 13, 1995. Two songs from the London show made it on the album, namely "Dead Flowers" and the Bob Dylan-penned "Like a Rolling Stone," with the latter also being released as the lead single off the album. "Black Limousine" and "Live with Me" from this show were chosen as the B-sides for the singles "Like a Rolling Stone" and "Wild Horses," respectively. The full Brixton Academy concert was released on DVD and SD Blu-ray as part of the 'Totally Stripped' deluxe boxed set on June 3, 2016.

Bridges To Buenos Aires is the latest concert film release from The Rolling Stones’ archive. The full-length show from their five night sell-out residency at the River Plate Stadium in Argentina’s capital city has been restored in full, and features a very special guest appearance from Bob Dylan. Filmed on April 5th 1998, by this point, the band had played to over two million people on the first two legs of the tour in North America and Japan. Amongst many highlights in this show, special guest Bob Dylan joins the band onstage at River Plate for a unique performance of his classic ‘Like A Rolling Stone’. The band only played a further two dates in South America on the triumphant, year long Bridges To Babylon tour, before they headed back to North America, and Europe.
