Cecilia Uddén

Cecilia Uddén, known as "Camelen", is a Middle East foreign correspondent working for Swedish Radio and alone in having been awarded Stora Journalistpriset ("The Swedish Grand Journalism Prize") twice. This film chronicles her life in Cairo, thereby highlighting the complex situation and conflicts in the Middle East.

When photographer Elisabeth Ohlson suffered from severe stomach cancer, it was difficult for friend and documentary filmmaker Joakim Lindhé to complete the film he had previously started about her. The result was a close documentary about the woman behind the controversial exhibition "Ecce Homo" (1998), where Jesus was depicted among homosexuals.

Patricio Galvey is in the middle of an almost unimaginable nightmare. He has not only lost his daughter, who allowed herself to be radicalised and travelled with her white, Swedish husband to Syria, where they both got killed. His seven grandchildren, aged 1 to 8, are now stuck in a prison camp in the war-torn country. The 50-year-old Swedish-Chilean Patricio has one mission: to get them out.
