Nils Frahm is a German musician, composer, and record producer based in Berlin. He is known for combining classical and electronic music and for an unconventional approach to the piano in which he mixes a grand piano, upright piano, Roland Juno-60, Rhodes piano, drum machines, and Moog Taurus.

NRIn celebration of Piano Day and as an acknowledgment of the unprecedented circumstances we found ourselves in, Nils released a collection of solo piano pieces titled Empty in March 2020. This music was recorded for this short film he did with his friend and film director Benoît Toulemonde some years ago.
