Anthology series in which characters find themselves in weird and scary situations. Not evoked by the supernatural but by other people.

The Mind of Mr. J.G. Reeder is based on a character created by Edgar Wallace in a series of 1925 short stories of the same name, Hugh Burden played the titular character – A mild-mannered investigator with the Department of Public Prosecutions.

Spirited American heiress Isabel Archer travels to Europe, where she navigates a complex web of relationships, ultimately committing to a fateful marriage to the charming but cruel Gilbert Osmond. This leads to profound disappointment and a tragic realisation of her own choices.
