A neutral satirical news hour.

Summer 2011: the Swiss financial market is abuzz with the news that Paul Béguelin, the director-general of the private bank Béguelin, was found dead in his office. Is it a case of suicide or score settling? This question is going to haunt his sister Elisabeth. Catapulted to the center stage of the bank, she embarks on an internal investigation. This is the beginning of a long road toward the truth, which will immerse her in the murky mysteries of the bank, her family’s secrets and banking secrecy.

Normally, the Valais cantonal police are concerned with minor details: runaway sheep and a presence at the village festival. Until the day when an inconceivable murder attempt awakens the criminalistic energy of policemen Bax and Pirmin. In the process, the duo not only uncovers local networks, but also tangles with dark forces.

A crazy referendum throws Switzerland into a state of emergency. By the acceptance of the initiative “No Bilangue” there should be from now on only one national language: French. Many German-speaking Swiss are therefore having a crisis.

Excelsior, a ski-resort without snow. A missing bride-to-be, a course for men in search of meaning, a couple in crisis, a Carnival monster, marmot hunters and a glacier in peril: the uncertain future of an Alpine community hinges on its ability to face up to its contradictions when everything collapses.

Every Saturday, 26 minutes reviews Swiss and international news, in its own way. Sketches give an amused look in the rear view mirror of a news that lends itself rather to grimace.

Two Swiss soldiers are given an urgent mission : to prevent the Swiss army from invading France by mistake.

Every morning on Couleur 3, Vincent Kucholl and Vincent Veillon parody the news using swiss stereotypes. On stage we meet again with those stereotypes: Sébastien Jacquet the junkie from la Riponne, Gilles Surchat recently fired from Schaffter Pives SA, Stève Berclas singer of BlackLion Genocide from Valais and lieutenant-colonel of the swiss army Karl-Heinz Inäbnit.

The exhausting day of a helicopter pilot.

Vincent Kucholl and Vincent Veillon are back on stage with "Le Fric", a new show that laughs at money and the economy. Money is always a problem. Whether we have enough, too much, too little or not at all. Even if we find it vulgar, it directs the desires, needs, relationships, the position of each in society. Its possession or not classifies men and women and defines their room for maneuver, the freedom to which they can aspire, the power which they have.

Vincent Veillon and Vincent Kucholl with their team have given themselves the means to laugh at all that our country has institutions. Paleo has not escaped! A show specially developed for the 40th anniversary of the Festival which is served to you in full on this DVD.
