James Davies is an actor, dancer, and singer from New Zealand. His career spans film, television, and theatre, with lead and supporting roles in Kaitangata Twitch (2009), Legend of the Seeker (2008), Inspector Lewis (2011), and the feature film Ablaze (2019). Stage and dance highlights include performing in the British premiere of Sweet Smell of Success in London and dancing in the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games. He is also known internationally for his role as Chase Randall, the Black Ranger, in Power Rangers Dino Charge (2014–2016) and for reprising the character in Power Rangers Beast Morphers (2020). James is the founder of Healthy Artists, an organisation dedicated to supporting creatives in developing both their craft and wellbeing.
