NRA compelling film about British Mountaineers Andy Kirkpatrick and Ian Parnell's controversial winter attempt to repeat Jean-Christophe Lafaille's groundbreaking route on the west face of the Drus, a route dubbed the hardest big wall in Europe. One can count the number of Brits who are bold enough to play this game on a pair of frostbitten fingers, and Andy and Ian are both experienced in the art of suffering. Through sunshine and snow, bad times and worse, this film is an honest and revealing insight into the world of modern alpinism and big-wall climbing.

4.0A gripping adventure into the world of cutting edge rock and ice climbing documenting what is possible with a ground up, no pre-practice approach resulting in raw, compelling and often frightening footage. The climbers in this film aren’t necessarily the strongest but they have the biggest kahooners(!); willing to take a 30 foot fall for the ultimate on sight ascent.
