Edward John "Edd" China (born 9 May 1971) is a motor specialist who has been featured in British TV shows including Wheeler Dealers and Auto Trader, both alongside television presenter Mike Brewer. China has also appeared on various radio shows. He was educated at King Edward's School, Witley, and holds a degree in Engineering Product Design from London South Bank University. China is managing director of his own company, Cummfy Banana Limited, which was set up in March 1999 to design and manufacture unique vehicles for advertising, corporate promotional work and special occasions such as weddings and proms. Experienced car dealer Mike Brewer is joined by multi-talented mechanics in a monumental motoring mission: to find and restore iconic cars to later sell for a profit at their LA-based shop. In the series, Mike has the challenging job of finding vehicles that have money-making potential. He then hands them over to a mechanic, who tackles everything from bare metal re-sprays to gearbox swaps to bring them back to their former glory.

Auto Trader is presented by Mike Brewer and Edd China, who have worked together on other TV series, including Wheeler Dealers. The programme is set in the fictitious garage called Mike's Motors. Mike introduces a buyer who is interested in purchasing a certain type of car. He has three or more cars on offer, and the buyer decides which ones he or she is most interested in, usually taking two for a test drive. Mike gives details of any potential problems with the cars. At the end of the episode, the buyer decides which car they have chosen to buy. Edd meets a seller who has been trying to sell their car for a number of weeks. There is usually a reason why the car hasn't sold and he works with the seller to repair and clean the vehicle, usually increasing the value of the car. Mike shows the viewer how to spot a lemon, working as a dodgy seller with a potential buyer, or meeting "reformed car clocker" Tony who shows Mike how to spot a clocked, cloned or stolen vehicle.
