This contemporary story deals with the relationship between two brothers, which fell apart catastrophically twenty years ago and has still not been repaired. Karel is a successful businessman in a small Czech town, while Emil has prison tattoos, works as a day laborer, and drifts from one hostel to another. He apparently has a child somewhere, but only sends child support. Karel has a loving family, but his wife and two teenage children have no idea what happened between the brothers years ago; the children don't even know about Emil's existence. Karel needs Emil's help, so Emil spends several days at Karel's house. As far as brotherly help is concerned, the situation, as we learn from flashbacks, is complicated and may never be resolved, but Emil becomes close to Karel's family, discovers what he has been missing all his life, and comes forward to his daughter himself.

Taxi 121 is a Czech thriller inspired by real events from 2014, when a serial killer took the lives of three Prague taxi drivers. Officially, the police attribute the murders to a single perpetrator, who remains unknown to the public. The tragedy was the impetus for the making of this thriller, which quickly draws the viewer into the story and lets them experience a whole range of emotions, from fear to courage to hope. The film not only reveals to the viewer a possible motive for the murders, but above all offers an intense story of a young married couple, Matěj and Lucie, who do not give up even when they have practically no future ahead of them...
