When 39 people are killed prior to the European Cup at the Brussels Heysel stadium in 1985, the mayor's daughter and an Italian journalist are torn between their professional assignments, family, and human nature.

From formidable opponent to laughing stock in the space of two short years: this is the story of Brexit Britain as told by the European politicians tasked with negotiating an exit deal. With exclusive access to the European parliament’s Brexit Steering Group, this revelatory fly on the wall documentary captures the internal workings of European negotiators as they deal with an increasingly beleaguered Britain. As Europe contends with a decidedly un-United Kingdom, the austere corridors and dim-lit offices of Brussels become the stage for a human drama of epic proportions; a fractured tale that is by turns exasperating, tragic and hilarious.

Deep scars run through the Balkans, and a new generation now lives with these scars. Six young people from six different countries travel across the Balkans together, discovering how nationalism, ethnic tensions and prejudice have shaped people’s lives and affected their own futures.

A central city is torn between the preparations for a major event - the Cycling World Cup - and being held hostage by COVID-19. Like a contemporary chronicler, director Lode Desmet films his city during a period that was unprecedented for everyone. He sees Leuven and the people of Leuven changing during the corona crisis, streets empty and full again, hopes and plans come and go.
