A film about two encounters. One where two young people made a promise to meet again in five years when they had become successful. And one five years later, where they both should meet again and celebrate their success. But life is one thing, and dreams another.

After an elder man gets hit by a stolen car, the police decides to investigate it. The stolen car is later found next to a murdered young girl, prompting Inspector Irene Huss and her co-workers to investigate and slowly get pulled into a world of evil.
