Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger VS Super Sentai is a 2001 Super Sentai Series V-Cinema movie which celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Super Sentai Series. Under the orders of Kyokai Kaichō Kudo (Hakuryu), Himuro and Tamura (Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi) intervened in the succession dispute of Nagoya’s largest organization, the Shigemitsu-ikka. The conflict with Genseikai brought Himuro significant losses. Although the situation was calmed with the help of Akimoto (Sho Aikawa) and others, the power balance in Kansai was profoundly shaken.

During Ienari Tokugawa's period. Hanakurabe (a playful competition of poetry with flowers in this period) was held to please Shogun (General), and Shiroshobu of the Date family and Higoshobu of the Hosokawa family competed with each other. As a result, the Hosokawa family won and Yahei Tabuki of the Date family killed himself. At the funeral, a beautiful woman (Hibiko Maya) appeared in front of Yahei's son, Yazyuro (Tsuyoshi Kato). The woman said, "I am a woman of the Hosokawa family, and the person who killed your father" and left. To revenge father, he became "Hanaonmitsu" to make a better flower than Higoshobu.

The special opens with Tachibana Tōbei taking some children to a Kamen Rider roadshow. Just as he's reminiscing about all the heroic modified humans he's lived alongside- Ichigō, Nigō, V3, Riderman, X, Amazon, Stronger and Tackle- the first seven Riders gradually show up to greet him in their human guises, unrecognised by the crowds. When it's revealed that the kaijin onstage are 'real', not actors, the Riders transform to save the crowd and Rider actors, uniting their power to defeat the Delzer Army's true leader, Great General Darkness in his hideout beneath the stadium.
