The plot tells the story of Celestina, an angel responsible for Brazil. When threatened by God with being sent to the country she was supposed to help grow, she despairs and seeks out her friend, the angel Gabriel. The colonel's doubt will be clarified when the secret, contained in the diary hidden in the clock case, is revealed. In this whole plot, a third person is fundamental: Laura, who pretends to be Cândida's friend, but is not.
