The real place where the penguin congress takes place is also the most fictional place on this planet where you can stand on your own two legs. Here, even the animals can talk. This land of dreams and nightmares is called Antarctica. In this desert of ice surrounded by a stormy sea, a few dozen human beings also live. Using sophisticated instruments, they observe the worrying changes affecting our world: the hole in the ozone layer, climate change, and so on.

Reimagining of the Don Quixote saga. A professor is working on a study about knights in early Swiss history on behalf of the Swiss National Science Foundation and becomes a knight himself in order to better imagine their world. Accompanied by the keeper of a scrap metal yard, he takes to the field against modern highwaymen, giants, and lindworms—against highways, environmental pollution, nuclear power plants, reservoirs, and the tanks of the Swiss army.

Emil is tying up bags at the post office when luck smiles on him one day. He is asked to fill in for a colleague who is ill and is allowed to try his hand at the counter. Anyone who knows Emil knows that such an undertaking can only go wrong.
