The heroine of the story Struck by Lightning is a divorced teacher with grown-up children. She has been living alone for a long time, finding solace at her brother's grave in the cemetery. Years ago, he was killed by lightning somewhere in the mountains, at a mountain hut. And it is here, in the intimacy of the family grave, that Jana is approached by an unknown young man. He offers her companionship and help. Jana is afraid of him at first, but when he shows her a winding scar under his shirt, which proves beyond doubt that he, like her brother, was struck by lightning but survived, Jana believes him...

Adolescence is always a difficult time; it is doubly so for Gábina. For one thing, she is growing up in the normalization years of the 1970s, and then she also has to face the reality that her father is a well-known actor disavowed by the regime. Although he abandoned the family years before, his existence casts an ominous shadow over the lives of not only Gábina, but also her older sister and mother, who are trying to find a civilized way through the social mire of the times.

Jack Duluth, together with Ronald Sheldon, is the owner of a wealthy publishing house and considers his co-owner to be his best friend. That's why he is greatly upset that his son Bill has fallen in love with Ronald's young new wife Jean. Jean and her poor, eccentric family are completely financially dependent on Sheldon. The drama of two friends who fought in England as Czech airmen during the war and had to live through the well-known martyrdom after returning home is a story about the power of friendship, the courage to transcend oneself in the face of violence and the right to preserve human memory. The television film by director Jaroslav Dudek, who cast Jiří Bartoska and Josef Dvořák in the lead roles, was honoured with the prestigious Prix Europe international award in Reykjavik.

When the Nazi army occupied Bohemia and Moravia on March 15, 1939, the Czech nation faced a period of mortal danger. A few weeks later, Major General Alois Eliáš entered the most dramatic period of his life – on April 27, 1939, he was appointed Prime Minister of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. This was despite the fact that the Nazis were aware of Eliáš's activities in the Russian and then French Czechoslovak legions, and that he was an advocate of active defense at the time of the Munich capitulation. Alois Eliáš accepted the position in the Protectorate government with full awareness of the risks and dangers: he was aware that by cooperating with the Nazis he would tarnish his name, and he knew that he could not do without feigned loyalty.

The movie's main storyline follows the life of Otík, a young man, in a tight-knit village community. The sweet-tempered Otík works as an assistant truck driver with Mr. Pávek, his older colleague and practical-minded neighbor. Pávek's family takes care of Otík, whose parents are dead. However, the two coworkers become at odds over Otík's inability to perform even the simplest tasks. Pávek demands that Otík be transferred to assist another driver, who happens to be a choleric and suspicious man named Turek (Turk in Czech). Rather than work with Turek, Otík decides to accept an offer of employment in Prague, but finds he does not fit in to the city life. After discovering that the transfer of Otík to Prague was a trick by a crooked politician to get a deal on Otík's large inherited house, Pávek agrees to give Otík a second chance and retrieves him from the city to resume their work together.

These brothers are not particularly exceptional as people go, but at least they have branched out into separate vocations in their lives. One brother is a doctor, another is a criminal, and the third is a bus driver. Like others in Europe, they suffered through World War II, yet no matter what their backgrounds and experiences, their interpersonal relationships are not exactly gripping drama.

It depicts his encounters with various European personalities of the 17th century - the Queen of Sweden, artists and scientists. It emphasises the hero's nobility, but also his inner resilience, which allowed him to overcome many personal and professional tragedies. The parable of The Labyrinth of the World and the Paradise of the Heart becomes part of the story. Vladimír Menšík in a dramatic story of a suddenly rich peasant. The play tells the story of the tragic fate of A. Špáta, who, as a poor second time, unexpectedly inherited 15 thousand gulden. Rais, whose novella "Špáta" was adapted for television by J. Z. Novák, realistically affected a person in relation to property and his desire to rise socially. In Špáta, he created a social type that surpassed his time.

The construction of a gigantic facility such as the Dukovany nuclear power plant requires only the most capable experts. Such is the engineer Hlaváč, who has been involved in the project from the very beginning as a construction manager. He has to deal with many problems, especially the lack of manpower. He is unfairly demoted to a lower position due to the intrigues of his subordinates and the alibi of the management, but time proves him right and by the time the plant is inaugurated, he is once again the main manager. But the demanding job takes its toll, his heart cannot withstand the frantic pace of work...

Upbringing means Germanization. The methods used here did not even remotely resemble their noble name. Inhuman treatment and psychological and physical suffering also affected Mirko.
