Ella is just an ordinary cab-driver in Berlin, Germany. One day she meets Aleksej, a young Russian guy, who offers her DM 100.000 should she decide to marry him formally. Ella first delays answering, but when she finally decides to do it, it is too late. What Ella doesn't know is that Aleksej has stolen the Deutschmarks from his brother Jewjenij, crown-prince of the Moscow Mafia. And Jewgenij is no one who accepts loosing something...

A candidate in a game show is hunted by three men. He will get a Million DMark, if he survives for a week; the hunters will get the money, if they can kill the candidate. The audience of the show is watching the transmissions of twenty camera teams filming the hunt. The showmaster appeals to the TV-viewers to help either the candidate or the hunters, whomever they want.

Leo the foreign legionnaire, Wilhelm the priest and Charly the brothel owner are unequal brothers. Wilhelm is determined to have Charly's brothel closed down. When Charly kidnaps Wilhelm to his brothel, he recognizes his brother - and promptly pretends to be him. And then Leo comes along as well.

Kati leaves her hometown - a small provincetown in northwestern Germany - to live in the city of Hamburg. Being about 18 years old she has just finished school and seeks her freedom away from home. She knows she loves women but never dared to live accordingly. In Hamburg she soon finds a lover and a good friend, too, and the strength to face the narrow-minded people at home. After struggling with it for some time she returns for a visit to tell at least her mother and best friend.
