Honzík experiences the feelings associated with love for the first time, he does not fully understand them, so he gathers advice from his mother, grandfather Josef or sympathetic uncle Karel. He also meets love in kindergarten when he falls in love with Honzík's teacher, Eliška. And to add to the rapprochement, Karl's basset Váleček gets along very well with Elišča's basset Šalina.

Lovers & Murderers is about the ongoing war between those who have and those who want to have what the others have. The have-nots see themselves as poor victims trying to get for themselves what is justly theirs. But when the have-nots become haves, they continue to see themselves as victims of the hordes baying for what is justly theirs, and they have neither the energy nor the security to enjoy what they have obtained. The movie takes place in the microcosm of a small apartment building. The principal goal of the young people who share rooms in the building is to move into their own room and, some day, a real apartment. They scheme to get what they're after: form short-lived alliances, petition, frighten, marry, become pregnant, anything that might work. Lovers & Murderers presents Páral's vision of mankind caught in a cyclical process in which ideology pales before the pettiness, cruelty, and self-justification of human nature.

The main character is accompanied on her difficult journey through life by her extroverted, eccentric friends and her inner voice, Šedivka, with whom she has a very complicated relationship.

A young clerk is delegated to sort out the affairs of a certain property. The story of the film *They Call Me Lars* pays homage to the “hard-boiled detective genre,” with present-day Prague standing in for 1930s Los Angeles. But private eye Lars doesn’t wear a suit like the legendary detective Phil Marlowe of old. He’s a tough guy in a leather jacket, with a shaved head and a scruffy beard. After being kicked out of the police force for complete insubordination, he scrapes by however he can. He solves various problems for his clients or, conversely, causes trouble for others. It depends on the assignment. The only thing left to him from his time in the service is his former partner and friend Gold. The only thing he has left from his time in government service is his former partner and friend Gold, and it is Gold who offers him a lucrative deal.

When on the mountains, so to Špindl. In the snowy Špindlerův Mlýn the sisters Eliška, Katka and Magda go to the women's ride in the full-length winter comedy Špindl. They plan to enjoy relaxation, fun and perhaps a bit of love adventure. Eliška is fine, but Katka and Magda were already thirty and are still single. Does the right one appear in winter snow? It is certain that they will meet other participants and entertaining figures, and during the weekly stay, all of them will get an avalanche of love and livelihoods.

The common theme of the short story film is the famous duels between two important historical figures: Pushkin and Casanova. Pushkin's tragic duel, which ended his life prematurely, is portrayed in connection with the creation of his short story "The Dirty Shot", while Casanova's story is conceived in a rather ironic and humorous way. The point is that the famous seducer never actually seduced, on the contrary, all his life he was in a constant battle with female seductions.
