Master baker Oskar Lorenz is plagued by a number of worries, because almost every day one of his employees is affected by a different "ailment", making it difficult for the bakery to meet the plan. Karla Geisler is a woman with her heart in the right place and a very quick mouth - the tenant on the first floor is practically the good soul of the entire building community.
