Florian König is in his early 20s and lives with his mother. He assists her whenever he can. In the weekly newspaper "Alt Ausseer Bote" he reports on a foundling that has been handed in at the baby hatch of Bad Aussee hospital, and is subsequently dismissed by editor-in-chief Anton Grimmeisen. But when the editor Caroline Moosbichler hears about it, she demands Florian's immediate reinstatement. He is to stay on the story. In the process, he finds out that the mother acted out of pure desperation, and he gets on the trail of the love between Jutta Lechner and Thomas Gschnitzer. This love is the origin of the child.

Inken and Lucy are facing hard times when their parents' money is radically cut off. Together with Lena, who is fed up with her boyfriend, they desperately search for money, an apartment and love. There she receives an express letter from her mother requesting her to ask the wealthy art dealer Dorsday for a much-needed loan. Her father is facing bankruptcy due to embezzlement. Else approaches Dorsday and describes the difficult family situation. Dorsday is willing to lend the necessary money, but stipulates that Else must expose herself to him naked for a quarter of an hour. Else reacts indignantly to this request, but over the course of the evening realizes the dilemma she faces. Caught between unconditional loyalty to her father and a strong longing for autonomy and self-determined femininity, she cannot commit to either alternative.

Karl Hirnschall is in his thirties and is a member of a Viennese avant-garde theatre group in the early seventies. When he is finally fed up with acting for low fees, he goes back to his former life. He becomes the "right man" for a grocery firm whose products he sells with great success. The neo-salesman manages to acquire a furnished appartment for himself and his young girlfriend, Traude. When his income does not keep pace with his expenditures, Karl resorts to shady business deals.

For 30 years, however, the series of ten erotic encounters about people in very different relationship situations has held a firm place in German-speaking theater life. In the summer of 2012, the ORF Lower Austria regional studio recorded the 120-minute production by Helmut Wiesner, who discovered an original version of the play in Switzerland, at the Reichenau Festival in the Neuer Spielraum.
