José Luis Rugeles

A vision of Colombia's inhuman armed conflict, seen through the eyes of a young - and pregnant - girl soldier.

García has managed to accomplish his wedding promise to his wife, Amalia: buy her a wretched farm outside the city, which is far from his wife's dream. But life turns unexpectedly as he arrives home and finds Amalia missing.

Joe Arroyo and his musicians will embark together on this psychedelic journey through various hotel rooms. Rebelión is the portrait of a genius in the depths of his intimacy, the throb of a soul in love and tormented by that great love: music. It is a timeless journey through his life, passing through the dark and lonely place where the creative act happens, where his talent is on the surface and his emotions are free, as well as his whims. The story takes place in hotel rooms, overflowing with chaos and the genius of Joe. A hotel room that are many and that, in turn, contains the agony of the genius who sabotages everything he loves to remain free.

The story of a boy who finds his sister buried in the vegetable garden of an old lady who lives with a cat and a boy with Down’s syndrome. The woman nourishes the tomatoes with the blood and fluids of the bodies of children, of whom she also fries the fingers to eat them. A journey guided by the child’s orthopedic shoes, from the door of the house to the garden with the tomato patch, going through a long hallway with pictures of two twin brothers, and the kitchen where the cat drinks its milk.
