Following an unsuccessful suicide attempt, a young inmate is granted a five-day holiday to find his mother's grave. During this leave, he crosses paths with a traumatized country teacher.

Bratislava, 1930s. The owner of a luxury tailoring salon, Alfréd Blum, has always relied on a classy clientele, thanks to which he rose to the top of society. But times change, the world is in an economic crisis, and Blum discovers that in reality he only has debts. He has completely lost his assets in shares, and his clients have to deny themselves luxury goods. The only hope to save his family from poverty is Blum's life insurance policy for 300,000 crowns. Therefore, the businessman turns to his old acquaintance, unemployed tailor Ján Kepeš, with an unusual offer. He gives him five thousand crowns and arranges a job for him in a Viennese salon. The Slippers of Happiness is another film made by the Slovak Film Production in co-production with West German companies based on classic world fairy tales. After Slovak folk tales [The Greatest Peck in the World, Salt Over Gold] and the works of German fairy tale writers Wilhelm Hauff [The False Prince] and the Brothers Grimm [The Land of the Thrush's Beard, Perinbaba], screenwriter Alex Koenigsmark and director Juraj Herz were inspired by the famous fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. It tells the story of slippers that the Fairy of Fortune enchanted so that they would fulfill every human wish and thus bring people happiness. The filmmakers humorously transferred the plot from Copenhagen to old Prague.

The trenches of World War I provide for a captivating backdrop to the drama of Corporal Hoferik. In his devotion to the Habsburg Monarchy, he fanatically carries out his military orders, but he ultimately suffers the Empire's disfavor.

A television production based on the legend of the well at Trenčín Castle. In the 16th century, the lord of Trenčín Castle was Štefan Zápoľský - Duke of Transylvania, known for his hardness. He built Trenčín Castle as a fortress against the Turks, which, however, could be easily defeated because it had no water. The Turks wanted to take advantage of this fact. Zápoľský, as a good tactician, did not wait for the Turks to attack and attacked their own camp. He won and took a large number of prisoners, including the beautiful Fatima, the wife of Duke Omar. Omar decided to ransom Fatima from captivity. Zápoľský knew only one price - water at Trenčín Castle. Omar undertakes to fulfill the condition and dig a well. He keeps his word and takes Fatima and the other prisoners from Trenčín Castle.

A psychological story of a young printing house leader and his subordinates and a "dangerous contract from the West".

An unconventionally seen story from the period of the Slovak National Uprising will especially interest you with the character of the village lad and brawler Vince Kucek, played by Ivan Romančík. Hours and hours spent in the pub, riots with friends, scenes of jealousy towards his old rival Petr Chuťek, now a partisan commander, hostile memories of the strict teacher Machoň – all this fills the seemingly carefree days of the self-confident farmer, father of two small children, husband of the faithful, devoted Eva. However, the situation in the village is getting worse. Some of the men go to fight in the mountains, but the stubborn Kucek refuses to go with them.

The plot takes place in the revolutionary year of 1848. It takes us to Príbelice, where Janko Kráľ returns from Pest after the March Revolution, to acquaint the Slovak people with the famous Twelve Points, together with his friend, teacher Ján Rotarides. They were voted on at the last Hungarian Diet in Bratislava with the promise of freedom and equality for Slovaks.

A crime story about a victim who was not entirely innocent. A fashion show is held on board a Danube steamer, where the star is the model Anna Vlčková, nicknamed "the beautiful harlot" because of her acquaintances with wealthy foreigners. Coincidentally, the young police captain Strelková and her older colleague Lieutenant Michalek are also among the spectators. Neither of them has any idea that Vlčková has a crush on the sick Swiss industrialist Langer. However, someone threatens her with death because of her intended marriage to him. Langer dies in the hospital before he can marry the beautiful harlot. However, someone still murders Vlčková with a shot from a hunting rifle. For Captain Strelková, this is the first major case of her career, and it is all the more difficult because the investigator has to make her mark in a world that has been the domain of men until now...

A group of drivers paid according to their performance are struggling with hard work in a large quarry, somewhere where foxes say good night. A new worker, Marek Orban, joins the team of foreman Peter Hotka, known as Maco. Deep down, he is a deeply moral person, although he was given a suspended sentence for bodily harm. He beat up his wife's lover, to whom he must also pay compensation. Marek hides this from the other members of the group because he is ashamed. Maco, out of friendship with Marko, attributes non-existent trucks to the group, which, of course, backfires. However, the team eventually shows its strength and works off the undeserved reward.

It is summer 1944. The war is far away from Slovak mountains for the time being. The head of forest management Borodác brings a new employee to complete the eight woodcutters work team of Czechs, Slovaks and one Pole - the young guy is Martin Uher, a former clerk form Prague. The eight tough men do not trust the newcomer at first, but as time is passing, they got used to him. After some time, Martin gets next to Julika, a young wife of the gamekeeper Tkác (Vlado Müller) and they begin to go out secretly. The gamekeeper knows that Martin had promised to cooperate with German Gestapo, after he had experienced a hard interrogation. In avoiding to be a grass, Martin leaves Prague to hide in Slovak mountains. Tkác wants Martin to inform on his colleagues who hide guns in the forest to ready to use them against Nazis.

A story of a man threatened by a fatal illness evaluating his life (the number 322 in the film title stands for the diagnosis of one kind of cancer). He understands his illness as a form of punishment for his cruel deeds in the 1950s. In the face of reality and his efforts to cleanse himself he hits a barrier of indifference, lack of interest, and individual and collective selfishness. He has to find his own reconciliation with his illness and his past and present life.

A fisherman saves Anada, a woman adrift, from drowning. He takes her to his home, and protects her. Eventually, she occupies a larger place than was to be expected. He commits adultery with her, but his own wife seems to be in love with the strange young woman.

The rich farmer Shrnej is such a miser that he won't even marry so he doesn't have to support his wife and won't even allow his servant to do so. He uses his wits and comes up with a ruse - when the farmer goes to town, he sees a girl at the crossroads who sings that she doesn't eat or drink, that she only lives on air. That would be a woman! A hard worker and she wouldn't cost him anything! And so the farmer marries, unaware that he's marrying his servant's sister, who makes a living like everyone else. It's only when he thinks she's been roasted by him that he begins to suspect her. But wherever he hides so he can follow her, he pays the price, and almost loses his life...

Juraj, a Slovak artist living in Prague, takes stock in his life, realizing that his days pass without purpose. He lives a carefree life. But now he has to choose between two women, between the city and the country, and between creative work and craftsmanship. He has a passion for art but he also has to make a living. Through his relationships with close people, he grows aware of his position and this knowledge helps him to live a more fulfilling and better life.

Oldrich is the runt of his village, beaten by his father, bullied by the other boys. But he has imagination on his side, and a wiry toughness they can’t defeat. The village is in turmoil, because the Nazi occupiers have just retreated and the Red Army is advancing. The unhappy and desperate director of the Šúpala Zoo tries to sell a sick bear to a foreign tourist for shooting, because the purchase of other animals for the ZOO is only possible with anti-socialist currency, i.e. hard currency, and so the administrator does everything possible and impossible just to get them...

The television film based on the novel of the same name by Ladislav Mňaček draws on the period of World War II and the Slovak National Uprising. The film's story is composed of two intertwining time lines. In the images of the present that frame the entire narrative, the young partisan Voloďa - a hero with autobiographical features - recovers from a serious injury. In feverish reminiscences and in conversations with his nurse Eliška, he recapitulates the eventful events of his time in the partisan group in the village of Ploština, which the partisans abandoned under the pressure of events and left to the mercy of the German commando. Voloďa is haunted by visions of the burning Ploština, remorse and responsibility for the tragedy. In feverish reminiscences, he relives the meetings of the partisan detachment with the German commando. Memories of the mysterious Jewish girl Marta, a partisan liaison with whom Pavol had a passionate love affair, also return to him.
