A want-to-be stand-up comedian uses comedy routines to spark a connection with a Chinese girl. They are surrounded by an empty, urban landscape, yet an intimacy grows.

A man eats cheap chicken and drinks a cheap drink in a cheap house. Then a strange couple appears before the terribly lonely man. They all join in spiritual aerobics. A kitschy portrayal of one man's extreme loneliness and desperation.
