A documentary about Haruomi Hosono, a musician respected around the world and the music composer of Cannes Palme d'Or winner Shoplifters. The footage traces his encounter with music in early childhood to his days in bands Happy End and YMO to his solo activities. It also includes in-depth coverage from recent years of his first overseas performances in London, New York and Los Angeles. In London, he was joined by Yukihiro Takahashi, and when Ryuichi Sakamoto made a surprise appearance onstage, the YMO members were reunited for the first time in five years, a must-see spectacle captured on film. The concert film presents the January 20 performance in full, including on-stage moments and the encore song “Sayonara Penguin,” with bonus footage from special guest collaborations with Keigo Oyamada (aka Cornelius) at Kyoto Theatre and city-pop icon Taeko Onuki at Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall.

The "Wreath of Beauty" has been stolen! In broad daylight. The Flippers had returned. The Flippers (Keigo Oyamada and Kenji Ozawa), who looked up to the Seven Golden Men as their mentors, had a hundred tricks up their sleeve and never let their intended prey escape. One day, they make it look like they are filming a movie, and then they steal a masterpiece, and leave in high spirits. A mysterious woman (Kaori Shiota) in high heels and her dog (Doggie Dog Dee) follow them, friend or foe. She has come up with the perfect plan to rob the entire museum... Meanwhile, Detective K (Kei Sakuragi) and Mari (Mari Hiki), a beautiful young detective, are under secret orders to arrest the Flippers. Running with a passionate sense of justice and pride, K. has a secret love for Mari and a secret hobby. The day of the big plan's execution is fast approaching! A gripping crime action film filled with love, adventure, snappy dialogue, stifling thrills and suspense!

A live performed on August 5, 2011 at NHK 101 Studio in Shibuya, Tokyo. Yellow Magic Orchestra, who has almost never done a studio live, played "RYDEEN", "FIRECRACKER", "COSMIC SURFIN", and others, in front of about 1,000 spectators selected by lottery. Keigo Oyamada, Tomohiko Gondo, and Christian Fennesz participated as support members.

Cornelius and his band performed Oct. 8 at the Tokyo International Forum Hall A as part of the Mellow Waves Tour 2018. Going to a Cornelius show isn't just about enjoying live music; it's about taking in a distinctly unique audio and visual experience, including innovative visual effects and lighting. As today's market for live music continues to expand, the importance of visual tricks and twists to accompany live performances has grown as well, but Cornelius -- the solo project of Keigo Oyamada -- has been integrating music and visual effects in his concerts for over a decade and is a pioneer in this regard.

There can be something truly magical about the marriage of moving pictures and music. It makes complete sense that Cornelius, who has an almost obsessional devotion to the creation of programmatic electronic atmosphere, would find a place among them. The Japanese musician responsible for 1997’s remarkable Fantasma has ventured into video art before -- Five Point One, a companion piece to Point, combined hypnotic videos with a 5.1 surround mix of the album tracks in order. Which is basically what Sensurround does as well. As hinted above, this isn’t really a collection of music videos. They are too abstract, and too tightly interwoven with the album’s larger thematic concerns.
