The main character Struja (Stream) is an unyielding rock musician in a demo-band called When Dirty Harry Met Dirty Sally. At the beginning he is very firm and reluctant to give in, but when Anja, the girl he left, announces that she is pregnant with his baby, Struja suddenly realizes that there are bigger issues in life than playing at wedding.

Completely enchanted by Walt Disney and the heroes from his animation world, a nine-year-old boy awaits the visit of his uncle from the USA. Young boy's family is also anxious to finally see a man they haven't seen for so long. With the appearance of a gangster-movie hero, the boy's uncle is full of interesting stories adding even more flame to the child's imagination. Everything seems perfect and surreal as if almost they are completely sucked into a world of imagination, up until one horrific event reveals the real truth about uncle's life and deeds.[2]

Europe in second half of 16th century was very rough place to live. Peasants of Slovenia and Croatia had even rougher times because of the constant threat of Turk raids and being taxed to death in order to provide defence against the Turks. But, the worst things were arrogant local feudal lords led by Franjo Tahi who were oppresing the common folk. All that led to the great peasant revolt of 1573. The movie is made for the 400th anniversary of the event.

The story is set in a small Dalmatian town. Soon after the death of a local nobleman, a girl who worked as a servant in his house, gets pregnant. Even though the father's identity remains unknown, the whole neighborhood saw a naked man jumping down from her window on that same night when the nobleman died. Local teacher who lives in that house, falls in love with the girl who decides to tell him the truth about the "naked man".

Martin and his girlfriend Zorica are two students who live as subtenants in separate flats. Since that situation has devastating effect on their love life, they yearn after the place of their own. When Martin's landlords go to the hollidays, it seems that their prayers, at least temporarily, had been listened to. However, the idilla is very short one, because other people also want to use the situation.

Mirko is happily married man in his forties, employed in a record company. His quiet life is interrupted when a pretty young woman moves into an apartment on the upper floor. With the help of his friend Stipe, Mirko tries to seduce the aspiring singer - but their plans don't work out as expected.
