Completely enchanted by Walt Disney and the heroes from his animation world, a nine-year-old boy awaits the visit of his uncle from the USA. Young boy's family is also anxious to finally see a man they haven't seen for so long. With the appearance of a gangster-movie hero, the boy's uncle is full of interesting stories adding even more flame to the child's imagination. Everything seems perfect and surreal as if almost they are completely sucked into a world of imagination, up until one horrific event reveals the real truth about uncle's life and deeds.[2]

Wanting to publish their first solo album, an up and coming rock band decides to give up on following the unwritten "Rock and Roll Code" in order to play a few cheesy love songs for the upcoming wedding of Siniša, a corrupt and violent police officer. What they don't know is that Siniša's bride-to-be is none other than Anja, the ex-girlfriend of their founder Stream, and that the ceremony won't be just a wedding, nor merely a moneymaking opportunity, but, rather, a high-stakes rescue operation, started by a reignited flame.

In Autumn of 1991, a Croatian soldier looses his wife and home to Serbian forces. Panicked, he grabs his daughter and, with nowhere else left to go, they leave for Zagreb, hoping to find shelter there. But, it turns out the streets of the war torn capitol are not much more safe nor pleasant than the village they had to leave behind.

Zagreb, Yugoslavia in 1890. A group of high-school students run away on an adventure that ends in scandal. The ringleader, Gusta, is expelled from school and sent to stay with his uncle in rural Turopolje. People end up in this idyllic exile because of some previous "sin" and try then to make the best of their lives there. But memories of the outside world impinge on their happiness.
