6.7Through globalization, many countries have been opened and barriers removed to ensure easy trade, travel and cultural diversity. However, this openness has given opportunities to criminals looking to exploit the system and ultimately threaten our global safety. As Europe has become a "safe house" for criminals eluding law enforcers, a special kind of law enforcement team is needed to handle specific ongoing crimes on a global level. "Crossing Lines" is the story of one such team, made up of five international cops, headed by Captain Daniel. The team - comprised of individuals who have little in common - must learn to live and work under the most dangerous and potentially deadly conditions. Housed in an unused storage section underneath the ICC, this mismatched team faces bureaucratic, jurisdictional and cultural obstacles while traversing continents in pursuit of justice.

NRThirty-five-year-old bachelor Jiří Šafránek is a train dispatcher, an amateur actor rehearsing the role of Hamlet, and the proud owner of a 1960 Stadion 22 moped. Because of the blue color of his beloved motorcycle, the police call Jiří the Blue Dragon. Jiří still lives with his mother, who finds it difficult to tolerate his escapades. Like Prince Hamlet, Jiří talks to his father's ghost. In addition, he is always running late and shortens his journey from work to theater rehearsals by taking a footbridge where motorcycles are prohibited. One day, he almost collides with a girl named Adina coming in the opposite direction. This marks the beginning of a relationship that will disrupt not only Jiří's coexistence with his mother, but also the preparations for the premiere of Hamlet itself.

5.0Barrandov Studios, once one of Europe’s most modern film factories, became both a cultural refuge and a propaganda tool under Nazi occupation, churning out Czech comedies and romances to keep the public distracted while its actors mingled with German authorities. After the war, many of those same stars faced accusations of collaboration, their meteoric Protectorate-era fame tainted by the compromises they made to keep the cameras rolling under shifting regimes.
