In 1962, a photographer working for a crime reports newspaper in Valparaiso, Chile, is obsessed with creating a photo novel that will revolutionize the art world. Helped by its neighbors, humiliated by their producers, but determined to make his ambitious project a reality, the photographer will betray -one after another- their unusual theories, neighbors, colleagues, their love and finally himself.

In 1988, Chilean military dictator Augusto Pinochet, due to international pressure, is forced to call a plebiscite on his presidency. The country will vote ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to Pinochet extending his rule for another eight years. Opposition leaders for the ‘No’ vote persuade a brash young advertising executive, René Saavedra, to spearhead their campaign. Against all odds, with scant resources and while under scrutiny by the despot’s minions, Saavedra and his team devise an audacious plan to win the election and set Chile free.

The contrast of the parallel lives of two women personified in a single actress (Delfina Guzmán). Despite the radical differences between their lives, they are intimately connected to each other. Candelaria is a vagabond in Parque Forestal, crazy but happy. In contrast, in a comfortable and luxurious apartment, lives Laura, who is harassed by the greed of her children and her lover, who will not rest until they strip her of her fortune and expel her from the country.

A Chilean talent show in the mold of "American Idol," "Rojo" became a huge hit the moment it hit the airwaves. This comic series puts a fictional spin on all the backstage drama: the backstabbing, the ruthless competition and the passionate abandon. Further blurring the line between fantasy and reality, several of the show's big stars -- including Monserrat Bustamante, Mario Guerrero and Yamna Lobos -- appear as pseudo versions of themselves.

Teresa is a girl from Chilean aristocracy. She lives a double life, at day she dresses very elegant and fancy, while at night she assist to high society meetings at the Crillon Hotel in Santiago, where diplomats and wealthy people meet. However, her family is economically ruined after a bad sale of her father's mines and they have to live at Romero Street, where the working class lives.
