Zohara has been waiting to go home ever since she was first stationed at a distant military base, but when the day arrives her hopes evaporate. The soldier sent to replace her appears to be suicidal. Instead of leaving, Zohara is ordered to guard the new girl.

A bride and groom arrive at their lavish honeymoon suite on their wedding night. When the bride, Eleanor, discovers her now-husband has received a ring as a wedding gift from his ex-girlfriend, a knock-out fight ensues. At Eleanor’s insistence, the newlyweds leave the hotel and set out on an expedition to return the ring. Their simple mission quickly derails into an all-night odyssey through the streets of Jerusalem. Over the course of a single night, the couple are forced to confront past lovers, repressed doubts, and the lives they’ve chosen to leave behind.

Filmmaker Talya Lavie steps into the spotlight with a dark comedy about everyday life for a unit of young female Israeli soldiers. The human resources office at a remote desert base serves as the setting for this cast of characters, who bide their time pushing paper, battling for the top score in Minesweeper, and counting down the minutes until they can return to civilian life. Amidst their boredom and clashing personalities, issues of commitment—from friendship to love and country—are handled with humor and sharp-edged wit.

Flora was born in the field, that's what she keeps telling everyone, that is. She is a waitress in a coffee shop that requires complex acrobatic skills. Flora cannot take it anymore. But she still hasn't lost her dramatic talent...
