Martin's dream is to be normal, but he gave that up long ago. Diagnosed at nine with severe conditions, he now just wants a 1994 Honda Civic.

Like the majority of young Kenyans, Juma dreams of a better life abroad. His girlfriend has left to work in Qatar, allowing the young man to fully thrust himself into his work as a “companion” to elderly European women who spend their vacations at local resort hotels. Danish filmmaker Emil Langballe records in detail what appears to be a budding love affair between Juma and a middle-aged British woman. The documentary turns out to be a real-life version of Ulrich Seidl’s feature Paradise: Love, investigating local female sex tourism based on a false sense of romance.

A colourful, upbeat tale from Vollsmose about the resourceful and funky hairdresser Qasim, who instils dignity, inspiration and hope in young people through something we can all relate to – a cool haircut!

In 2010 Rokhsar and her family fled Afghanistan because they were afraid of the Taliban and after six months of illegal border crossing through Europe they ended up in Denmark where they sought asylum. Nevertheless, the Danish immigration authorities doubt their story and the fact that they will be persecuted if they return to Afghanistan which means that they have been denied asylum several times. Now they are staying in Denmark illegally and can be deported any time.

A tribute to love and being together. Sidsel and Christian have Down's syndrome and have been together since they were teenagers – and now they are getting married.

The Academy for Untamed Creativity (AFUK) is a production school and an alternative to traditional Danish high schools, where the core values are 'You should dare to be different' and 'You can do so much more than you think'. From the very first day of school and over the course of an entire school year, we follow four young students at AFUK's artiste programme. Four youths, who each in their own way don't feel that they fit into a regular academic high school. We join Mads, Oliver, Zanya and Andy from the first nervous moments to when they stand proud and brave with newly found physical and mental strength in front of a large audience for the school's closing performance Festivitas.
