Valerian Sidamon-Eristavi

Dolgat and Ismail are friends; they work in 19th century Karachai-Balkaria in wood-industry. Ismail by accident kills brother of Dolgat. He believes that it happens by chance and does not think that his best mate is guilty. But mountain community demands for a vendetta.

An agitation and propaganda film calling on the workers and peasants of Georgia to subscribe to the Third State Industrialization Loan. The only directorial work by V. Sidamon-Eristov, a leading Georgian film artist. The film was not released due to its poor artistic quality.
