The Eurovision Song Contest is an international song competition, organised annually by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and featuring participants representing primarily European countries. Dr. Shuki Chaftziva is a ballroom dancing instructor who tries his hand at match-making. He follows the obituaries and takes his client, Zigi Fuchsman, an auto mechanic and childhood friend, to comfort the mourners and check out the widow and her property. At the same time, Ben Gurion Shemesh, a grease monkey who wants to be a singer, tries to win the heart of Dina, the disco floozy and also Zigi's daughter

Through the streets of Jerusalem two teenagers' stories will unite to tell the summer adventure of their lives. Tamar is an amazingly talented but very quiet and insecure girl, who leaves behind her home and all she knows, changing herself unrecognizably -from her looks to her attitude- to brace herself for a dangerous mission to help a loved-one. Asaf, a clumsy, naive, and very shy boy working a boring summer job at City Hall, is given quite a mission himself : to take an uncontrollable stray dog from the pound, put it on a leash, and let it lead him back to its owners to be fined. The more stories Asaf hears about this extraordinary girl, the more he falls for her, and as he and Dinkah continue their journey Asaf becomes aware that Tamar is in grave danger.

In the summer of 1990, six years after the first and successful reunion of Kaveret, the band members reunited for another concert tour under the title "Kaveret Returns". The film "Kaveret - Photos from the Life of a Band", released in 1992, documented this concert tour held in Yehoshua Gardens Park in Tel Aviv, in Caesarea Amphitheater, in Arad and in Eilat. The late director Zvi Shissel accompanied the members of the band on their journey across the country, heard stories and memories from them from the beginning of the journey and documented Kaveret on stage and behind the scenes.
