I dedicate this short film in pink, red, black and white to Rose. I made it for her with me, named it ‘A Rose’ for the circumstances. This film followed the December 2003 criteria: a short film for giving.

A bid for freedom on the base of a languorous waltz mixed with the declaration of African independence. So, is Roc an echo of Su?

During my journey there are encounters of everyday music. My neighbour’s cello, my flatmate’s voice mixes with piano tuners. If we walk around, the Romanian Circus gipsy dances take over the street and Paris livens up with the sunny pace of a town with ocean reflections, however ignored by the local children.
