Just out of high school, Lavinia, Carla and Danila leave for a yachting holiday. Accompanied only by a skipper, the three of them sail along the Croatian coast at the start of a new stage in their lives. Full of dreams, free and laid-back, they are unaware that sharing everything on the social media is about to transform their holiday into a brutal rite of passage to adulthood in which nothing, especially their friendship, will ever be the same again.

Things seem to be going fairly well until one of the tenants, Milan, a war veteran and an agent for the Yugoslav Secret Service, commits suicide, seemingly not of his own accord. Fearing what this could mean for the security of the state, the Secret Service sends in another agent, Ivan, to move into the housing block undercover, alongside his pregnant wife Milica, and report on any suspicious activity he comes across. Upon their arrival, the unexplained deaths and suicides begin piling up more and more, and one of the tenants, a sickly 12-year-old named Ana, starts exhibiting strange symptoms and seemingly supernatural abbilites.

During the Croatian War of Independance of the 1990s, a group of soldiers knocks on the door of a small family apartment. Šomi, the youngest of the family, tries to protect them at all costs.

When they were both children, David and his younger brother Luka both ended up in a terrible accident that caused the latter to go blind and left both parties with incurable feelings of resentment and grief that they decide to try and cure with a hiking trip. However, during the trip, Luka accidentaly injures himself and both brothers will home to overcome their grievances in order to come out of the peril alive.

Every year, over 35,000 students from elementary schools across Croatia visit the city of Vukovar as part of the Memorial Center of the Homeland War program. The film follows an eighth-grade class on this trip, documenting their entire journey, from departure to their return home.
