A television adaptation of a short story by Polish author K. Brandýs. An elderly couple are preparing to celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary, to which their children and families are also due. The two elders' wait is filled with reminiscences, revealing both private and socio-political problems. Touchingly nostalgic moments alternate with explosive, nervous scenes, caused by the disappointment that the children did not come. None of the three children has remembered their grandparents. However, the wisdom of old age speaks: if loneliness has remained their lot, they need to come to terms with it as quickly as possible.

While searching for a criminal, investigators find themselves in a series of dramatic and dangerous situations. The risk is even greater when the dangerous man is not being tracked by a professional team of criminal investigators, but by a private individual. This is the case of journalist Gavlas, who finds himself in a dangerous situation while performing his profession. Anonymous threatens him with death if he does not abandon his profession. Gavlas must deal not only with the problem of his personal attitude towards the principles of the journalistic profession, but above all he must uncover and neutralize a hidden adversary.

Dorotka is a poor orphan who works as a shepherdess for rich farmers. Their mischievous son often torments her. One day, he chases a goose away from her pasture. While searching for it, Dorotka meets an old woman who not only punishes the mischievous man, but also gives her 3 gifts: a magic wand, a jug of spring water, and a ring made of grass. Dorotka can only give these gifts to the person she loves the most. And she gradually gives them to the good young king, who has helped her and others, but somehow cannot help himself - he cannot find a bride himself. With the help of the old woman and the miraculous gifts, she finally becomes the one who deserves it most - the shepherdess Dorotka.

Each of the four short stories, framed by the figure of the photographer, depicts the lives of women and girls whose work has brought them to the limelight, but also marked their relationships with those closest to them.

A lyrical picture of student life. A romantic story of first student love seen through the eyes of an aging writer's memories. In the last years of his life, National Artist Štefan Králík, in addition to his theatrical work, also worked for television. A Trip to Youth takes place in the environment of a current class of high school graduates who have invited a famous writer to a discussion. Shortly before his arrival, however, something happens that contradicts the majority's opinion about morality. And so the planned official discussion suddenly becomes a sincere, open exchange of views, in which the writer becomes one of the actors in the story. A story that happened to him fifty years ago.
