Edward Forsyth

An American army officer working for British intelligence comes to post-war Berlin to solve a murder. His investigation is compromised when he falls for a nightclub singer, not realising she is an agent of the criminal mastermind he is on the trail of.

An old lady is driven to a Mediterranean casino by an un-named chauffeur in a Rolls-Royce. After briefly playing at the tables without success, the lady visits the manager, played by Alex Gallier. While toasting her loyalty to the casino with champagne, the manager is attacked by the old lady, and his takings are stolen.

A sequel to "The Prisoner Of Zenda" in which the villainous Rupert returns to Ruritania intent on exposing the replacement of the king by a double.
