The story follows Nuar, a young man with a stammer who works as an assistant at Mak Andak's biscuit shop. Nuar is in love with Mak Andak's daughter, Ina. Ina's mother, Mak Andak, forbids Ina from being close to Nuar because he is lazy. Moreover, Mak Andak has already chosen Badrol, a hotel manager, as a prospective husband for Ina. Because of this, Mak Andak gives out a task to make Datin Rozi's viral biscuits, and whoever succeeds will be able to marry Ina.

After his parents died in a fire at their house, Hud moved in with Nek Som. Nek Som was also alone because her only child had not returned to the village for almost 15 years.
