A newlywed couple sets off on their honeymoon expecting romance and privacy, but their plans are quickly disrupted when an unexpected third companion joins them. Police detective Turoni begins to investigate and Eddy, wanting to revenge Barbara, does the same. Another girl, Porzia, is murdered in the same way and Eddy finds out that the motive of the crimes dates back some fifteen years.

The dressmaker Rosa, in love with the lead actor, identifies herself with Violetta: thanks to a bad joke and a fake séance, Rosa begins to believe she is her reincarnation. From that moment on, she tries to discover everything she can about her previous life, which slowly becomes closer and closer to her real one.

Gianni (Boldi) is an ad agent from Milan vacationing in the mountains. Inside a cave he stumbles upon a cavewoman (Grimaldi) frozen intact. Of course she retained all of her young beauty and immediately Gianni is attracted to her, but after he begins thinking she is best left behind she follows him around creating havoc in his normal life. Gianni believes he can transform her into a beautiful modern day woman.

The annual film festival in Venice is, of course, an ideal place to make a film (how come no-one has thought of it before). Everything is there in Pupi Avati's Festival: the famous hotels Des Bain and Excelsior on the Lido, the shimmering sandy beach which captivated Visconti. The film was made last spring and exploits the presence of passing film stars such as Jack Nicholson. We see the hysterical press conferences, where journalists and experts ask intelligent questions-without listening to the answers.
