In a small English coastal town, three teenage boys are drawn into a world of temptation and violence. Bored, troubled and excluded, the boys are unable to accept or even recognise moral boundaries. Their actions move inexorably towards a truly shocking act, that will horrify their sleepy community and expose its deepest, hidden fears.

A tragic tale of a shipwrecked and injured fisherman as he searches for signs of life on the island where he was stranded leading to a dark secret.

The Duel is a short film inspired by Terry Pratchett’s Discworld. The film was created and directed by Giant Animation Studios as part of the Animation Hub, a work experience programme set up for students to work on live projects.
