John Hurt stars as a scandal-hit member of parliament, dispatched to the political backwaters of the European Commission in Brussels as penance for his failures. However, once there he stumbles upon a chemical weapons outrage that points to a sinister political-industrial conspiracy.

In the year 2417, space pirate Rio Kowalski glides through space in an ancient spaceship. When a space transporter loaded with valuable cargo crashes, Rio sees that his time has come. But salvaging it proves difficult. Perhaps the shady Angie or the strange Max can help him.

Simon, the leader of a police special unit, becomes caught up in a complex scheme involving bribery and money-laundering, as well as an affair with the beautiful wife of a government official investigating organized crime and political corruption. After the official is kidnapped, the chase leads to a dramatic conclusion high in the Bavarian Alps.

Entführung aus der Lindenstraße is a German television film directed by George Moorse. It was produced in 1995 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the German television series Lindenstraße, and stars many cast members of that show.
