Together with his unsuspecting wife, he and his "dream team" set off for Rio, and it is only under the hot Brazilian sun that Marek realizes how karma is catching up with him and that even the best sporting performance may not be enough to escape it. The movie takes place in the microcosm of a small apartment building. The principal goal of the young people who share rooms in the building is to move into their own room and, some day, a real apartment. They scheme to get what they're after: form short-lived alliances, petition, frighten, marry, become pregnant, anything that might work. Lovers & Murderers presents Páral's vision of mankind caught in a cyclical process in which ideology pales before the pettiness, cruelty, and self-justification of human nature.

Erben's original text, which did not exceed half a page in length, served Zelenka only as a source of inspiration to write a plot-rich story about two brothers, one of whom lives in luxury because Luck helped him to wealth, and the other lives in absolute poverty because he loves him Poverty, and she, out of love for him, doesn't want to allow him to get rich and let his life be complicated by worrying about possessions. However, not only the struggle with poverty and the arrogance that comes from owning a large property are the main motives of this charming comedy, which is intended for children of all ages. The desire for love and the search for happiness in life plays an important role in this sometimes very exciting story, and an equally important motive here is the motive of forgiveness of guilt in the name of more permanent values, among which in this case the relationship of two brothers can be included.

More than a year has passed since the last time we saw Julio Lavický (Jakub Stáfek) (yes, it was when he "sold" the match, but forgot about it and scored a beautiful goal). At the wedding, which cost a fortune, but he discovers that he already has an eight-year-old son, which will definitely not please the newlywed. not to lose his wife on his wedding day, to take care of his child, which is a long way from him, to get from Vysehrad to somewhere higher, or to fight with the practices of a certain football Dad... It's just rushing like an avalanche again - from one problem to another second.

Fortunately, overwhelmed Eliska has a great friend with a clear recipe for what needs to be done. She herself alternates boys as socks and therefore immediately bases her profile on a dating site. She doesn't like it very much, but she is middle-aged, she's single and she's afraid the train won't miss her. And she wants to take life more firmly in her hands. She therefore throws herself into a blind date and tries to find new love between a series of catastrophic meetings. At the same time, she has to move quickly and the only option is to live with her half-brother, a weirdo who grows bees on the roof and who does not want her at home.
