An old peasant from Chodský, Záhor, claims to the young Podestát that he returned three hundred gold pieces to his father before the old Podestát died. Out of greed, Záhor even decides to perjure himself in court. The indignant creditor warns him of God's wrath. Záhor's sons, Matěj and Vondra, are vying for the same girl - the daughter of a blacksmith, Nana.

Two young composers offer their operetta in vain - it is rejected before anyone reads it. By a coincidence, when its text ends up in the wrong briefcase, it ends up with a popular singer who, on the contrary, likes it very much, but has no idea who wrote the play... The search for the authors, personality confusion and budding love become the main plot elements of this pleasantly naive film, where there is constant singing.

Concert master Karel Mašek is a drunk, as well as engineer Danda and other regular guests of the pub U Kroců. Mašek returns from the pub in the morning and promises the woman that he will stop drinking. But he failed again, and the orchestra players refuse to play with him. Danda returns home without a bag and goes to Krocs again in the morning, even though he has an important job at work. He has been degraded to subordinate job position, but he refused to admit it at home.

A comedy about a grandmother who raises her granddaughter Jarmila according to the rules of the old days. The life story of a prominent Slovak scientist, soldier, diplomat and politician who contributed to the creation of conditions for the formation of an independent Czechoslovakia. He died in a plane crash on May 4, 1919.

Anton Špelec (Vlasta Burin) is a producer of musical instruments by trade but a sharp-shooter at heart. He expects to be awarded a medal at a large parade in town where veteran sharp-shooters will be honored. When the town council is one medal short, Anton must wait another year for his prized possession. He drowns his disappointment in drink at the local pub and becomes so drunk that he insults the emperor who sentences him to jail. Instead of fulfilling the emperor’s orders himself, Anton sends his employee in his stead.

Country tailor Florian Svíčička neglects his work because of his interest in medieval history. When preparing an amateur performance at Zdislavice Castle, he gladly replaces the bailiff and plays the role of a knight. However, he ruins the performance and is shamefully banished. On his way home, he witnesses a horrific scene in the forest: two knights behead a young girl. It later turns out that it was a filming, and the girl Hana, a double for the famous diva Elvíra, spends the night with Florian at the castle because the filmmakers accidentally leave her. The master loses patience with Florian's excesses and Florian is fired from the tailoring shop. He sets off for Prague to find the girl he was with at the castle the night before. However, he does not know her name and accidentally comes to Elvíra's villa. The diva is not at home. Florian finds a love letter in the villa and thinks it is addressed to him. However, upon his return, Elvíra mercilessly throws Florian out...

Young civil servant Marta Urbanová wins a two-week stay at a luxury hotel. While looking for a typing room, she accidentally finds herself in the suite of the Minister of Finance, who mistakes her for a typist. A rich bachelor, Pavel Haken, tries - with the help of his faithful servant - to escape the courtship of marriageable young ladies. They meet at a ladies' social club. In the cafeteria there, he is helped by the talkative Andula, the daughter of a poor taxi driver. Haken longs for peace and has a secluded weekend villa built for him. The brief silence that followed his mother's departure is interrupted by the inhabitants of a tent camp. The girls from the club have taken advantage of Mrs. Haken's offer and camped on their property, and Andula helps out in the camp kitchen...

The management of the Meteor motorcycle factory is forced by a representative of the central headquarters to accept the expensive design of a racing machine and abandon the unfinished prototype of a folk motorcycle of their own design. However, the factory's workers and technical team decide to complete the prototype of the "Pepíky", as they call their five-hundred-horsepower motorcycles, ahead of schedule.

A Czech satirical comedy set around 1900. The inhabitants of the small town of Pětice are excited by a mysterious package that is to be delivered to the best person in the village.
