Through their bond, Tsubasa and Haruka find solace and begin to develop deeper feelings for each other.

The Zakaen, capable of freely manipulating flames, unleash "Super Fires"—a threat far greater than a super-disaster—plunging the globe into chaos. Following in the footsteps of the Rescue Force, which had expanded its operations globally, a new special forces unit called "Rescue Fire" is established. They protect people by "explosively extinguishing" the Zakaen's Super Fires.
