A student contradicts his professor's stance that Suworow was one of Poland's greatest leaders. The argument between the two eventually leads to a wide strike.

The life story of Franciszek Murka, a municipal official. He is dismissed from his job as a result of unfounded slander about his alleged left-wing political past. After losing his government job, he assumes the identity of a foreigner named Franz Klamm and makes a career for himself in the aristocratic salons of Warsaw as a master of the occult.

Profesor Wilczur is a 1938 Polish romantic drama film directed by Michał Waszyński. It is based on the novel by Tadeusz Dolega-Mostowicz.

A middle-aged woman takes a young lover, and leaves her husband and family to live with him. Her lover tires of her, and tosses her out and she wanders around pawning her jewelry in order to live. She makes a last visit to her family, planning suicide after she sees them.

Rena is adored by the prosecutor's son, but his father won't let them be together. The manager of the warehouse where she works is also trying to win her favor.

After a long job search, the main character of the film receives an offer of employment with a wealthy family as a private tutor. She quickly decides to take the job, and a music teacher tries to win her favor, but the girl is more interested in a car mechanic she met briefly. Franciszek Brodniewicz reprises the role of Duke Waldermar Michorowski he played in the 1936 "Tredowata." Here, he leaves his recluse existence to help rescue the victims of a great fire, and suffers severe injuries. In his delirious state, he believes he is being taken care of by his dead wife, and (amara Wiszniewska, who is serving as his nurse, thinks his statements of love are meant for her. He is subsequently forced to disillusion the girl when he becomes normal, and she drifts into a casual love affair, but later falls in love with the Duke's nephew, (Wojciech Wojtecki.) The Duke later takes his nephew's place in a duel with the rejected suitor.

A renowned surgeon, abandoned by his wife and daughter, gets robbed and loses his memory. Wandering around the countryside, he becomes a village healer and performs operations.

Living only with her elderly father, Krystyna runs the household and works as a modest clerk. However, her fate takes a turn. The girl gets a job at a company, and one of the clients, Jan Merlecki, wins her heart. Things quickly become complicated, though. An anonymous phone call to her beloved's parents, followed by their intervention to prevent the young couple from marrying, prompts Krystyna to make a dramatic decision.

Ryszard Malewicz, a young inventor, is out of work. He had been waiting for months for a response from the ministry to which he had sent plans for his invention, an explosive of extraordinary power. Desperate Ryszard is comforted by his mother and his fiancée Maria.

1863. Bloody battles are raging. A squadron of dragoons is pursuing an insurgent. It is the wounded Prince Odrowąż. With his last ounce of strength, he makes his way to the home of the administrator Brynicki. Mija Brynicka, the steward's daughter, risks her own life and compromises her honor to hide him. Odrowąż finds caring attention and slowly recovers. Love blossoms between Mija and Odrowąż. Lost in ecstasy, they dream of a liberated homeland and marriage. Unfortunately, the prince's mother's selfishness stands in the way of their love, as she does not allow this misalliance. She takes her son away, leaving Mija in boundless despair.

The film presents the problem of women forced into prostitution abroad. Marysia Żurkówna is looking for a better life, she believes that when she leaves, she will go to a better world. A terrible disappointment awaits her. The "kind" people who organized her departure have prepared a cruel surprise for her - she is to become a prostitute. What can a lonely girl in a foreign country do in such a situation?

Ada Dziewanowska, a spirited landowner’s daughter, is sent to a Kraków boarding school to be “tamed,” where she secretly appears in an operetta and unexpectedly falls in love with Fred Orzelski, ironically the very suitor her parents had long planned for her.

After many years, he returns to Warsaw, where he starts working at a clinic and, together with Jerzy, his daughter's future fiancé, completes work on the serum. There is a chance to return to his family, but it may already be too late.

Jan Leszczyc meets Amelia Holska at the bedside of his sick mother and he falls in love with her. Both he and Amelia do not know that her father Józef Holski is an international hotel thief. Persuaded by Torense, his former accomplice, he steals pearls from Julia's apartment, Jan's friend, and gives them to his daughter. She ends up in jail when the diamonds on her neck are recognized as stolen. Holski and Torense are hiding from the police. The depressed Leszczyc does not want to marry the criminal's daughter, but the criminal past of Leszczyc's father soon comes to light.

A comedy of errors, whose main characters are a revue star Lidia Relska and the secretary of an oil tycoon Stefan. While in Cracow, the girl passes herself off as another person, which leads to many amusing misunderstandings, and this is only the beginning of the confusion.

Eastern Borderlands, 1919. The Bolsheviks, taking part in the Polish-Russian war, appear at the Granowski manor house. It's a story based on the war of 1920, which ended with the Battle of Warsaw going down in history as the "Miracle on the Vistula". The film was commissioned by the Propaganda Department of the Ministry of Military Affairs and has survived only in fragments (just 53 minutes out of the 2-hour-long film).

The story follows two young students, Ładnowski and Paszkowski. Bound by honour, Ładnowski marries the woman he loves. Years later, Pola has grown into a beautiful young woman working in a fashion salon. One day she delivers a dress to the home of her unknown father, the engineer Paszkowski. Captivated by her charm, he takes her under his wing. Pola soon becomes a celebrated dancer. After the death of his wife, Paszkowski falls madly in love with her and wishes to marry her. Out of gratitude, Pola is prepared to make this sacrifice—even though she herself loves the young painter Henryk, who is Ładnowski’s son. Hilka, a snake charmer, is engaged to perform at the Palace Garden. She is romantically involved with Baron Ilfingren. The circus director and Holfer decide to get rid of the gambler by accusing him of cheating, as they have their own designs on Hilka. The film was also known for its abundance of special effects—among them a manhunt for a bandit and scenes set in Apache dens—while particular emphasis was placed on its painterly visual style. No copies of the film have survived.

First narrative polish film. The janitor sweeps the pavement in front of the tenement house. A carriage comes with a rather solidly inserted young man. He is well-dressed but has lost all his strength. Merry Fellow needs help.
