After the success of Tuyul, the same main cast returned for this first sequel. Sol Soleh wanders into a cave filled with small statues of tuyuls (childlike ghost similar to goblin or imp) and brings two home. One of them, the humble Darto, comes to life and makes Soleh rich overnight. Things get out of control soon after Darto requests a companion and then a female tuyul.

Nina, becomes a bone of contention for her two male school friends. Unfortunately the two men had become victims of a misunderstanding. One is because of the carelessness of Nina's maid, while the other is because he sees a widower who is thought to be proposing to Nina. Little did he know that the widower had proposed to Nina's mother. The misunderstanding ends with the widower's advice, so they don't think about dating but just go to school.

Dr. Sugiharto opposes their relationship, since he has arranged Kusmayadi's marriage with Lasminah, the daughter of a trader. The relation of Kusmayadi-Asmarani is successfully broken. Asmarani falls ill and dies. When Kusmayadi know the news, he falls ill and dies too.

Eventually Bije and Diana get married, but before the honeymoon ends, Diana passes away on Bije’s lap.

Kabayan proposed to Iteung. He was initially rejected but eventually tied the know. After the wedding, Kabayan's laziness was eventually revealed causing Iteung to leave to the city because of embarassment. Issues such as kidnapping and blackmailing involving Iteung came up as Kabayan was looking for her.

Hamid Arief) devises a plan to thwart Pitung. Pitung’s girlfriend, Aisyah (Paula Rumokoy), is taken to become the third wife of Demang Meester (H. Mansjur Sjah). Just as the wedding celebration is about to take place, Pitung succeeds in rescuing his beloved, declaring that he will go to wherever people are in need.

After many jokes and funny situations, it turns out to be just a misunderstanding. Kasino himself is having terrible luck when, by mistake, a bank employee gives him more money that he has asked for. He intends to return the money but has to go through many comic situations and obstacles. Then it is Dono’s turn, who has a Caucasian girlfriend, to go through similar obstacles.
