An homage to Los Angeles, this film follows five poets and members of a public open call hired to write fifteen-word love letters responding to the heartbreak of the pandemic. Produced in partnership with LA County Library, the poems scroll on LED signs at ten LA County Library locations and place public grief and hope center stage.

ED & PAULINE is a portrait of the influential creative collaboration between Pauline Kael and Ed Landberg who through their visionary curation and film writing transformed a small storefront theater into a church for movie lovers.

Opening night of the 1969 San Francisco International Film Festival on the steps of City Hall. A who's who of SF high society is suddenly ambushed by a cadre of independent filmmakers armed with pies.
