In the absence of the genuine article, stable boy Pandoy serves as the Panday, forging a magic sword out of a meteorite and fighting pirates and white slavers. The film features a subplot of Pandoy having to choose between two romantic interests.

A young woman learns what it is to be a real woman. But with a strict and over-bearing mother, she discovers womanhood in the most unlikely places. With the discovery of adulthood comes the realization of the harsh reality of life.
