Sreenath

A group of high-ranking political officials are on a trip when their bus is hijacked by a group of terrorists headed by Charles (Lalu Alex). They demand the release of their old colleagues languishing in prison in exchange for safe release of the politicians. An ex-cop is hired to free the officials from the group of terrorists.

The story is about the problems faced by a lawyer in his personal, social and professional lives when he undertakes the murder case of a trade union leader in which his brother-in-law is the main accused.

Sukumari, a saleswoman, struggles to run her poor family. Her life takes a turn when she meets a business tycoon, Vishwanathan.

Prabhakar Varma is appointed by the police to investigate the suicide of Omana, the daughter-in-law of a businessman. Varma decides to investigate further when all the clues reveal it was a murder.

Basheer (Jagathy) is rescued by a cargo ship while lost at sea. Basheer has had a partial memory loss and he struggles to find out what has happened to him. The captain of the ship (Lalu Alex) tries to get him back to land, but he runs into several legal troubles due to the lack of documents with Basheer to prove his identity. Bhaskara Pillai (Mamootty), a lawyer decides to help out Basheer seeing his plight. The plot thickens when there's an attempted murder on Basheer.

Aryan movie is all about Devanarayan (Mohanlal) who is a Brahmin priest who is falsely accused of theft and forced to leave his village in Kerala. He moves to Bombay where he gets drawn into the underworld through an ageing don Kareem (Goga Kapoor). Some interesting comment initially on Brahmin priesthood in Kerala, but halfway through the film goes haywire.

The film revolves around a middle class Malayalee family. Problems arise when the eldest son alienates his father and gets thrown out of home. The film portrays the other members struggling between the two.

After a series of ego clashes, Nair learns that the trio is trying to woo his daughter Minu. Nair, enraged, challenges them to make his daughter fall for them.

Sethu aspires to become a police officer to fulfil his father's dream. However, his life turns upside down when he intervenes in a scuffle with a criminal to save his father's life.
