In the battle, Sedov wounded Baru, but Sedov's plane fell apart in the air. Sedov was only miraculously saved. A few years later, Sedov and Baru meet in international competitions in Tehran. Baru are to defend the honor of a French company, Sedov and his student Ivanov - the honor of their country. In the end, the defeated Baru can only express hope of a rematch during a new meeting with Sedov in a future war. The film has not survived.

A new design aircraft flies higher, farther and faster than all others. Enemy intelligence agents are trying to infiltrate the cottage of the inventor Professor Bogolyubov and steal the drawings of the aircraft.

Biographical film "Youth of the poet", dedicated to Pushkin-Lyceum student. At the 1937 world exhibition in Paris, the film was awarded a gold medal. The Director managed to accurately recreate the historic era, to convey the atmosphere of the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum in the years of the formation of the poetic genius of Pushkin.

The film tells about the class struggle in the countryside during the creation of the first collective farms. Only the first part has survived. Director Ivan Pyryev began work on the film. It has not been preserved in its entirety.

Arriving in St. Petersburg in search of work, a peasant unwittingly aids in the arrest of an old friend who is now a labour leader. The unemployed man is arrested and sent to fight in the Great War. After three years, he returns to rebel.

Silent film set in 1919 during the Russian Civil War. The Red Army liberated a small town, but a unit of White Russians is still operating in the suburbs. A group of Red Army officers are posing as a gang of Batka Knysh to provoke the White Russians before the final blow.

The film is based on real events and reveals the tragic episodes from the life of the Austrian biologist scientist-materialist Paul Kammerer (1880-1926), hunted by regressive scientists and Catholic reactionaries who committed suicide.

Khokhlova, a young female Moscow reporter, falls in love with factory manager Petrovsky. To her he's the epitome of manliness–virile, decisive, strong-minded. Kachalov plays the governor of a small Russian province who tries to treat the people under his authority with kindness and equanimity. He pays for this betrayal of his trust with his life -- at the hands of a courageous Bolshevik spy.

Revolutionary melodrama based on Lev Nikulin's story "Хміль". 1917. The main character of the film - a "bourgeois intellectual" - does not sympathize with any side and avoids revolutionary events. Jacob, a farmer, returns from the war to his wife Marie and begs the landlord baron for a plot of land to rent. The Baron grants the request, but only for a barren, rocky, useless acreage. The pair struggle to make do on this land, but then the Baron demands that Maria leave her husband to serve as wet nurse to his married daughter Anya's new baby, on threat of eviction. While nursing the daughter's baby, Maria receives unwelcome attentions from the daughter's husband, and a scandal erupts, ruining Maria in her husband's eyes. When she escapes from her employers and seeks to return home, the police give her the yellow passport signifying a prostitute, further degrading her. She approaches home, unsure of the reception that awaits her.

October reflects a general attempt in Russia to sustain the frenzy and dynamism of revolutionary fervour. This attempt increased in scale and ambition as they pushed it further, resulting in the theatricalisation of life. In other words, the boundaries between real events and fabricated drama became blurred as the portrayal of life became more exaggerated. It is important to remember that the film does not represent what actually happened during the 1917 Revolution, but is rather an adaptation.

1918 Odessa. German occupiers plunder the city. Sailor Petrus, who has lagged behind the Red Army detachment, saves one of the victims of bandit terror - the girl Marusya... Years have passed. The time has come for peaceful construction in the country.
