After years of saving from the petty bribes they collect, sixty-year-old Marina and Gosha from Bulgaria dream of travelling to Saint Petersburg for the White Nights. When Russia invades Ukraine and the travel agency vanishes with all their savings, their dream collapses along with their illusion of control over their morals and their relationship.

Two Roma teenagers, Tsvetan (18) and Nasko (13) are friends. They live in the poorest region of Europe. Two years ago Tsvetan and the Bulgarian girl Albena (16) stood on railway tracks in front of an on-coming train because their love was impossible. Albena died and presently, Tsvetan thanks God for the new lease of life he was given. Nasko depressed because his mother has abandoned him. Amidst the horrifying poverty the two friends are striving to find a way and a reason to survive.

A father is unable to accept his son's world. At Easter's Eve he turns him out of the family. A couple of hours later, the father realizes his mistake and sets out to look for him. Will he be able to bring his son back and to overcome himself, and to accept him back in the family?

Her visits to the service lead to the most passionate, deceitful, funny and sad love story in the world.

Bibby's best and only friend Theo lives on the roof. The two are so inseparable that Bibby can't focus on anything else and her cello lessons suffer for it. Their carefree coexistence is about to change when Bibby meets a guitar-playing runaway teenager who has set up camp on the same roof.

While traveling in their car, the Radoslavovs get into another row. It seems this is the end of their relationship. When they get home, however, they are surprised to find some burglars there. The burglars are almost kids, all stoned, and full of aggression. The family falling apart gets a good lesson of life from the street boys. And in addition to this, the couple learn more about themselves.
